I have had lots of scanners in my time. The old scanners worked fine with a amplified speaker plugged in the headphone jack. There were some users that were seeing the keypad lock on the SDS100 actually functioning through the Sentinel software in the early versions. Both fully charged and locked onto one TG, the G5 lasted 20.5 hours, while the SDS lasted 8 hours. G5 screen timeout set to 45 seconds and SDS100 set to 10 seconds. This TG is always quiet and little traffic. Charge at a constant 700 mA until voltage reaches 4.2V (at which point it will be about 60% charged). 2. Continue charging at a constant 4.2V until the charge voltage drops to 100 mA (at which point the battery is charged). Walking down the street, sitting inside or even both hooked up to similar outdoor antennas, and before anyone asks yes ive tried swapping the antennas (outdoor) on the SDS and HT. The micro can be used to power only. The mini powers and will charge simultaneously if enabled. There's no issues I found plugging in both while charging or not. Jul 9, 2022 · The message says that my SDS100 is up to date. It has firmware 1.10.00 and sub version 1.02.01. The Sentinel update to 2.03 went fine and now has the new tuning steps for custom searches, but I don't have any need for them. If it makes any difference, I updated Sentenel first. Without the lock symbol printed next to the power button it could cause a lot of confusion when the keypad stopped responding after being locked. Ironically in early versions of Sentinel you could set the "Keypad Lock" option to On for the SDS100 and the keypad would be actually be locked after writing to the scanner so *part* of the keyboard ....
