They will boost up higher and higher until it bumps into the power, thermal, or frequency limits. Your 5700G has a PPT of 88W, a max boost clock of 4.6 (I think?), and a thermal limit of probably 90 or 95C.

My 5800X idles around 31-32C depending on ambient. RGB tools, iCUE, and other vendor software is notorious for keeping cores awake.
