Probably gunslinger. Seems super fun and engaging, and has a skill ceiling high enough that you can sink time into and constantly get better. I never really played dps in most MMOs since I like being invited to parties. Seems to me like Paladin is the worst as there is only 1 paladin in the top 100. They are the most annoying class to deal with. "You don't play games to win, you play games so you can make you're opponents rage quit". Very investment heavy and takes quite a bit of practice to pilot it. Personally, I'd suggest picking a DPS class as your first for the story, getting to Punika and then boosting a support with the Punika pass. Personally think Eso WD and Striker (either variation, but probably wouldn't go for Deathblow as an early alt) are incredibly fun. I have every class at 1370+ (except deadeye fuck that class, and glaivier) Bard is the most fun. Followed by gravity Destroyer, red Gunlancer, swiftness gunslinger. The rest are all pretty even. Need good knowledge of mechanics due to attack delays. But I've played all the classes and I have the most fun playing the Artillerist. It is slow to level up and the class doesn't get fluid till t3.I'm probably biased but shadow hunter is some of the most fun I've had in a long time. I went from Berserker to Soulfist. I may MVP way more on Berserker but Soulfist is so damn fun and satisfying, gives off such a strong Dragonball vibe.
